Some Departure Procedures not working

Featured Replies

I think I've reported these issues in an earlier thread. 1.8 didn't fix.

Still needs fixed:

Before taxi: FS2crew calls out to set flaps/slats. FO does not set flaps or slats, I have to do it manually. Not a big deal, but is the FO supposed to?

After takeoff: FS2crew calls out to retract flaps. FO does not retract flaps. I have to manually

FS2crew calls out to retrace slats. FO does not retract slats. The next to-do is 'climb check'. If I retract the slats manually before climb check, the FO will deploy slats when 'climb check' is initiated by fs2crew. If I don't retract slats manually, and 'climb check' is initiated, slats are left out. I have to wait until climb check is completed, then retract slats manually.

On arrival - FO manages flaps/slats as intended.

The issue is only on departure. On arrival, the FO controls flaps/slats as intended.

I don't have any hardware that would prevent FS2crew from commanding the flaps/slats

yes, following procedures.

I'm able to deploy the flaps & slats, but on departure, I have to press F7, the FO won't do it. If it was a hydraulics issue, they wouldn't deploy at all.

Same as if there was a hardware issue, the FO wouldn't be able to deploy on approach, but it works as intended only then.

Button control.

This is what I'm saying - the FO calls out to set flaps/slats during after start check, and even says it's been done, but the setting isn't made. I have to set them manually. Same thing happens after takeoff, I can go through the after takeoff flow, and the FO calls out to retract flaps/slats, but it's not done. I should also mention that if I retract slats myself BEFORE 'climb check' is done, the slats will deploy (very weird), I have to wait until the climb check list is complete to manually retract slats.

I do run the full checklist.

  • 2 weeks later...

Byork,

This has been an ongoing issue for alot of users since 1.7, 1.6 was working fine.

I currently have FS2Crew disabled now for the Maddog which is a real shame, would like a fix as this has been ongoing for awhile.

I am happy to invite FS2Crew tech members for a private shared screen display of what is happening. Send me a PM of this is something of interest?

Regards

Lonz

I have just tried the latest FS2Crew build with my fresh new install of P3D v4.5 (HF1) and it all seems to work as it should.

The FO selects the correct flaps during the after start checks (I've tried both the standard settings of 11 and 15 as well as a dial-a-flap setting of 8).

After take off I command "flaps up" and the FO carries out the actions fine.

I only run the voice control, so can't check the button option.

Hi Byork,

My Maddog and FS2Crew are up-to-date, I will send you a ticket shortly.

I as well, have the latest Maddog build and 1.8 of fs2crew. The FO action items for flaps/slats during pre-flight is still a problem
