June 2, 20197 yr Hi Guys I mainly fly turboprops but am thinking of changing to a jet aircraft for my next video series. I am looking for a smallish jet aircraft which holds around 80 passengers and fancy getting an Embraer 170 for my virtual hanger. Ideally I would like it to be easy to learn with systems halfway between default and PMDG level, Can anyone provide any recommendations? kind regards Daz (Youtube Dkentflyer) My youtube channel http://www.youtube.com/c/Dkentflyer
June 2, 20197 yr I have flown this one a few time so far as I am new to Embraer add-ons too. https://www.virtualcol.com/products.php?kcmdlnk=productoinfo&id_prod=86 It is a very good compromise between the simplicity of the default airliners and the study-level ones. My only complaint is that the virtual cockpit looks a little primitively drawn for a FSX add-on. You get used to it after a while. June 2, 20197 yr Wilco E-Jet series offers the E-170 & E-190 and is currently on sale at Wilco. I've never flown this one. The aircraft was developed by FeelThere but it's only supported through Wilco. I do own and enjoy the FeelThere e-Jets v2, which has the E-175 & E-195. It is closer to a study level. There are a fair amount of liveries and it has a fully functioning FMC which can utilize Navigraph. Ernie Edited June 2, 20197 yr by airernie
June 2, 20197 yr A little long in the tooth now, but the Feelthere 170/5 and 190/5 models are excellent representation of the real aircraft. You may want to wait a bit as they’re working with another developer to update the visual model. Still, for 20 usd they’re inexpensive if you want to fly them now. Matt King
