Using a GTN 750 and 650 in the MV PC-6 I'm having a weird CTD when I click on one of the 750 or 650 popups in the VC.

Here's the contents of my ini file.  So the PC6 does not have native RXP GTN support (only GNS), so I ran the RXP auto replace like I always do.  I also added my custom clickspot fixer code so those work.  

I am able to popup one or the other GTN 750/650....but not both.  I can popup the 750 then if I click the clickspot to open the 650 P3D CTD's.  The reverse also happens if I successfully popup the 650 then try the 750, I get a CTD.

Anything look suspicious in my ini?  Also I'm not yet using P3D 4.5.....still on 4.4

I also have the Porter.

Have you tried popright = in the .ini file?

I added these to mine. Make sure to also add the idents under the [GTN_650_2.DEFAULT] & [GTN_750_1.DEFAULT] sections. And that the idents match those in the panel.cfg Window sections.

Right click in the GTN screens.

Hi Ryan,

If the popleft and popright are empty or -1 (meaning IDENT_INVALID in the SDK), the GTN won't toggle any popup window.

This means that what you're experiencing is the aircraft itself most likely having a popup toggle clickspot in 3D which does this, and fails on itself.

It is easy to cross-check: with the popup window open, try to close the popup in clicking on its screen with the right mouse button, or with the left mouse button while depressing the SHIFT key...

I set the popright = true and it's not working.  The mouse cursor changes when hovering over the GTN so there may be a hidden clickspot or model file in the way.

@BillS511 I also tried your way with the panel ident numbers and still no luck.  If I first use the provided clickspot to 2D popup the GTN650 - it just shows a GTN 650 bezel but no screen.  There must be some conflict somewhere.

Ok I just copied your panel cfg, Bill....which worked fine.  The right click on the gauge face still won't pop up the units but I can now click on the top of the VC bezel and they will both popup fine.

please re-read the inline comments:

left mouse button on the screen toggles popup window by ident (ex: GPS_PANEL or 225)

valid values are therefore:

• a number corresponding to the [Window##] IDENT= value (like 15751)
• a known name corresponding to the [Window##] IDENT value when it uses a known name instead of a number (like GPS_PANEL)
• nothing (just leave the value after the = empty)

Oh?  I thought this worked in XP11....it's different in P3D then?  No wonder I've been having popup issue LOL
