If I simply switch the _in to _out in the first line and then the_out to _in in the second line will this fix the problem without creating other problems? Please let me know.

You should contact Philipp at Laminar Research he will probably tell you exactly how to fix this.

I'm tempted to answer the above

but I think swapping the in and out commands in the .obj / .acf should fix this indeed. Just backup the files, do the change, try out, and restore if this fails!

Okay so far so good!  Now I have the zoom buttons working in the correct order on both the G530 and G430. There are actually two sets of in and out commands that needed to be changed for both Garmin units. Thank you for all of your help. By the way, I’ve selected the male voice on the RealityXP G430 and G530 however I only ever hear the female voice and never the male voice even though it’s always set to the male voice! How can I fix this?

There is no male voice included with the GNS V2 at this time (this is reserved for future use).

I would like to thank you for all of your help and all of your great effort and time put into RealityXP products. The realityXP G430 and G530 are wonderful and much more realistic than the X-Plane default G430 and G530. Great work, please continue to keep up the great work. I heard that Garmin is also working on producing a Garmin G1000 computer trainer that will be compatible for Windows 10 so please keep a look out for its release.

Regarding your question for what else I would like to see on the Aux. page a RAIM check option would be nice. There are obvious other options as you are obviously aware of.

I use your RealityXP within the bezel of the G430 and G530 on the C172SP in X-Plane 11 and I notice that when you hover the mouse over .C and .V round volume and squelch dials arrows appear that should allow you to adjust the volume up or down with your mouse. This function works on the RealityXP in the when not within the bezel of a X-Plane default Garmin unit but not when it's within the bezels of the X-Plane default locations. Is there any way you or I can correct this so that the volume knobs will work when RealityXP is within the X-Plane bezels of the G430 and G530? Please let me know.

I found the code on your forum for inserting the RealityXP G430 & G530 in the Laminar G430 & G530 bezels. I followed all the directions including " (only copy-paste the parts required into your .ini file) " I modified the code for the C172SP, however I only added the new code from the forum, I included the link to the forum I'm referring to below. I didn't delete any of the extra code that was present on my RealityXP.GNS file and was not present on the code for the C172SP listed on your forum since the instructions were " (only copy-paste the parts required into your .ini file) ". Is this correct? Or was I suppose to delete the additional code as well? I noticed that this was a very old post from November 2017 so I’m sure things have changed since then and my extra code might be for other settings I selected, but I’m not sure.

Bellow is the sections from my RealityXP.GNS file I modified for the C172SP. Please let me know if everything is correct and if I need to re-modify my RealityXP.GNS file. Thank you!

The INSTRUMENT PANEL SELF-TEST for the Reality XP G530 screen always has one error for the VFLG. The VFLG on the G530 indicates Out of View when the NAV 1 CDI for the G530 in the C172SP GS Flag is always in view during this test.

I also noticed that the Reality XP G430 and G530 will only zoom down to 5 nm in range whereas the real Garmin will zoom down to a much smaller zoom range. It would be great if Reality XP can also incorporate the full range of zoom options found on the real Garmin GNS. Thank you!

Have you tried running the Garmin GNS Trainer all by itself?

There you should be able to check the capabilities/limitations that Garmin has provided with their Trainer package (which is what is driving this gauge..)

Yes of course, I do have the real Garmin trainer and fly with the G430 and G530. All of my comments are based of the real world G430 and G530 in comparison with the RealityXP G430 and G530. The full range is from 2000 nm to 500 FT.

I understand.. but if Garmin did not include the real world zoom range in their Trainer, it will not appear in the RXP gauge..

Edit.. I just checked the RXP GNS530 in P3D and indeed, it goes down to 500 ft.

The Reality XP range for the G430 and G530 is only 200 nm to 5 nm, there’s a huge difference between the two!

So why doesn't my RealityXP G430 or G530 go down to 500 FT? The smallest zoom size I can get is 5NM on both units?

Is that true for the popup version as well?

Yes I can only get 5 NM as the smallest zoom range on the popup window of RXP and only 5 NM with RXP in the bezel of LR G430 and G530.
