Course indicator on the HSI does not follow F1 GTN 750

Recommended Posts

Your picture links are inop.. :unsure:

Here is my F1GTN.ini file for the Falcon.. check yours to see if different..

[GTN750.1]
TAWS Voice=1
AVDB=0
Unit Type=1
Radios=0
Autopilot=1
Mouse=1
Link CRS=1
Auto CRS=1
Fuel=1
Sound=1
Invert Mouse Wheel=0
Active Mouse=1
CPU Core=3
Play Click=1
VC Brightness=6
Airplane=6
Color Airplane=0
VFR Code=1200
Fuel Type=1
VNAV GS Needle=0

BTW... do you have the FD activated on the autopilot?

If not, the HSI will not react to the GTN course..

To expand a bit on this, FSW has set Auto CRS = 0 as the default for the GTN750s because in a real Falcon50 with an analog HSI the HSI does not contain a servo to auto slew the course indication (btw, the same is true for the Lear35). So the pilot has to manually change the HSI course (fortunately the GTN indicates when) just as has to be done in VLOC when flying VOR courses. So those of us who don't care for this bit of realism have to change Auto CRS=0 to Auto CRS=1 as Bert indicated above.
