What and where is the “aircraft installer”?

What file have you downloaded when you've purchased the aircraft? Is this a .zip file?

Then how did you extracted/installed the aircraft from the .zip file?

If this is a .zip file and you've extracted the files from it, is there any .ini file in there?

which .ini file are you referring to?

If so, is there any .ini file which name sounds similar to something 'rxp' related?

Furthermore, since this is only a configuration problem, as shown in this discussion, is there anything in the RXP GTN User's Manual pertaining to both 'configuration' and '.ini file'?

Then with this .ini file, which is included in the aircraft installation files, is it named the same as the aforementioned one documented in the RXP GTN User's Manual?

“Reinstalling the .ini file included in the aircraft installer will correct this most likely.”

So you have a well documented and known ini file in the aircraft installer files, then just copy it over into the aircraft folder in your X-Plane folder.

There is no RealityXP.GTN.ini file in the F33A download

You might want to download their latest version if this is relevant, or contact their support for the missing file then.

Also, I think it has to be the XP11 version of the aircraft.  I do not think the XP10 version had the file as part of the package.

Ok I will check with Caranado

I assumed “aircraft installer” meant the file I download with the aircraft but I was confused as I didn’t see that .ini file in it.

This is the X-Plane 11 version of the F33A

Caranado Support sent me a RealityXP.GTN.ini for the F33A and that fixed the problem.

The .ini is missing from the download at the X-Plane Org Store
