Taxi2gate Mexico city

Featured Replies

Hi everybody,

I was wondering how to install and/or download the Taxi2gate of mexico city since its only for FSX.

Thanks, I hope someone can answer.

You can install it with the xml method just like any other scenery for P3Dv4. It will work fine except for the runway lights and the autogen buildings around the airport. There are fixes for the autogen buildings on the T2G site: http://taxi2gate.org/?page_id=84

As for the runway lights, run an internet search. There are files around which add the missing runway lights but don't have the time to look for it myself right now.

How to download? Log into your SM account and download the installer. You need your name and pass code in order to extract the installer. You can download the T2G MC update from the link above.

I honestly can not remember if this installer will allow it to be installed into p3d v4 or FSX has to be installed. But that's easy to test. Try to install directly into the P3D v4 folder. Apply the T2G patches.

Once you accomplish that, we can talk about the fixes available.

As was said, it installs using the "xml method", which to the best of my knowledge, I'll detail below:

It's been awhile, but I think when I installed it into v4 I simply installed it to D:\SCENERY\MMMX and then used Lorby's Add-On Organizer to activate it in the sim.

You could probably activate it in the sim using the menus or manually editing the xml files, but, I've gotten to depend on Add-On Organizer.

Sometime later, I installed the patches.

Can anyone pls guide me to the fix for the autogen lack at MMMX? On the provided link I only find a v1.1 exe which does not adress these issue.

Kind Regards
