 We’ll start our scenic trip in Friedrichshafen at Lake Constance, home to the famous Zeppelin. In the background one can spot the Friedrichshafen cathedral.

After having crossed the Alps, we have finally reached Lake Maggiore in Northern Italy. At its eastern end lies Swiss Locarno

 

 

About to be tied down at Locarno airport for an overnight stay. Tomorrow, we’ll be flying back

Bernd: Very enjoyable tour from border to border...always loved the valleys (and nooks and crannies) of the Alps...many of which seen here on this trip!

And, of course, this Junkers Trimotor remains a classic!

This is my own set of ZL16 orthos

A perfect flight for the summer; livery and landscape couldn't fit better.
