He has announced on his blog that he is leaving MSFT. His announcement can be seen here.Steve, thanks for all you've done to help provide us such a wonderful program over the years. I wish you well in your future endeavors.

Steve, belatedly from Australia have I come across this thread. Sorry to hear you are departing (sorta) from the team. In whatever manner you may contribute in the future, I am looking forward to it and wish you well with your new endeavors (and with the hope that we continue to see your smiley face around these parts!).
