I just purchased a new Ben Q PD3200U. I am considering getting a 2nd one. Real reason being that I do work from home quite a bit and having dual setup is always better.

My thought is to use on screen for cockpit, one screen for external views. Running in 4k, how well will this work performance wise?

Better than my triple setup.

I'm not running a 4k setup so I can't answer.  The one question I would have for the experts would be the size.  Obviously everything is smaller going from 1080p to 4k.  So would 32" be too small to read day to day text on the screen?

I run two monitors 28" 4K and a 22" 1080p. The issue I had with the 4K monitor was that the text at full resolution was tiny so I was running the entire desktop at 150% larger size. All good for readability, however, when it came to P3D there was a loss of quality with jagged edges etc. and just an unsatisfying experience.

This changed with the new Windows 10 updates which allowed the text size to be changed separately from the overall desktop characters. Now I run at 100% overall with text at 125%, and P3D is a shining gem on the screen. Excellent resolution (4X MSAA, 16X Aniso). The icons are still small but the text is fine.

As for performance, it depends on your GPU. Most of the current crop can do it easily.

@avi8tir, good choice of monitor! As for the impact of adding a second you could open a new windows in P3D and watch the impact. I've never tried this before so couldn't advise on how P3D will perform.
