August 27, 20196 yr Bryan, you are correct. Somehow I managed to install an older version of RAAS. Just downloaded the latest one... Will be making a flight tonight and I expect the FO to announce the runways properly now. Thanks.

Hmm, this isn't the way it has been happening (which maybe it was an error to begin with). Even after I audible "Request start clearance", the PM doesn't flip the ATC switch to "ATC" at all. On a separate note, I can't get the ground crew to connect the external power, even after it a verbally acknowledge with a "Roger, connecting the external power". Works fine when disconnecting, but doesn't work at all when attempting to connect.
