September 6, 20196 yr Author RE: @ryanbatcund Hi Ryan, Very cool... So you're probably a good person to ask - what would a freight company use as it's callsign in the RW - I realize Airlines use flight numbers and GA uses tail numbers - would these guys have an assigned flight number - or would they use "Star Check" with their tail ? I had used EditVoicePack to create the "Star Check" call sign and converted the old FS9 AI Aircraft pack for Air Net to P3D - OK - maybe I have a problem - LOL ? I've got my Royal Air Freight (RAX) out of Michigan in the works - is there a public facility to look up callsigns for airlines or could you tell me what they would use ? Thanks... September 6, 20196 yr Well typically they'd use a portion of their N number in their callsign. Like EJA telephony: Exec-Jet (company NetJets). N339QS (the QS stands for quarter shares in case anyone wanted to know). Their air taxi callsign would probably be EJA339. So for Air Net, telephony: Star Check, FAA contraction USC. I used USC81. You'll want to find the FAA contractions order and search for the callsign or company (or telephone aka what ATC says on frequency) http://www.faa.gov/documentLibrary/media/Order/7340.2H_Bsc_w_Chgs_1-3_dtd_2-28-19.pdf | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
