August 31, 20196 yr I've been following this project for years..... Way back when it was the main competitor for Outera, though the two projects have diverged so far apart from each other at this point as to now have very little similarity. It's looking pretty good at this point, and very soon heading for Steam. Something for our resident Space-Sim fans to maybe take a look at. We are all connected..... To each other, biologically...... To the Earth, chemically...... To the rest of the Universe atomically. Can't some of these battleships go on the other side of the galaxy and play over there? Jim Young | AVSIM Online! - Simming's Premier Resource! You just invalidated all the space war fiction that has ever been written or filmed. 😁 "Society has become so fake that the truth actually bothers people".

The Spice Must Flow! 😄 That Infinity Battlescape thing looked kinda interesting, right up to the point where I heard "Multiplayer"... ugh. I bought the new Rebel Galaxy: Outlaw recently. Haven't had much time to spend with it yet, but it seems a decent homage to "Privateer" so far. It supports HOTAS controls which is nice (and rare these days), but I think it was designed for gamepad. It's not an easy game; one reason I want to wait until I can spend more time with it. Other space-related news is that there will be a new Homeworld 3 in the realtime strategy genre. I liked the original. I think it's still the only "space" tactical game that actually used all 3 dimensions. X-Plane and Microsoft Flight Simulator on Windows 10 i7 6700 4.0 GHz, 32 GB RAM, GTX 1660 ti, 1920x1200 monitor

In fact in a universe where pretty much unstoppable and undetectable relativistic weapons launched by an enemy can destroy all life on your world (extinction level event) you have a galactic "prisoners dilemma" where it actually makes sense to attack first. There has even been speculation thats this is why the galaxy is so silent. (Where is everybody?) The theory says all the smart races are hiding. General galaxy-wide radio silence is only punctuated by the occasional short, final cries of loud civilizations like ours as they are destroyed... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Killing_Star We are all connected.....
