Most Trusted Developers

Given the bashing that PSS is getting (rightly or wrongly)in some quarters over the B757 it would be interesting to know which payware and freeware developers flight simmers have the most confidence in.In other words who would you happily obtain a product from no questions asked. In terms of aircraft my own choices would be:Payware: LDS, PMDG, RealAir, Eaglesoft,Carenado, Dreamfleet, MAAM, Flight 1 and Cloud Nine.IMHO they consistently turn out top quality products that leave most others for dead.As for freeware:Classic British Flight Sim.

In defense of PSS, I got a lot of enjoyment out of their A340, and the Concorde. I would definitely buy a PSS product again.Mike.

These threads are always dead ends.Vote with yer feet and wallet...However, the importance of a good and unbiased review can't be understated. Word-of-mouth helps too. Armed with these, you usually have a good basis. On that basis I've found varying quality within a singel vendor's line.Few vendors are 100% consistent.

I am an avid globetrotter with my trusty Lufthansa B777F, Polar Air Cargo B744F, and Atlas Air B748F.

PSS are without a doubt still in that list of 'trusted' developers. No piece of software is released bug free, every one of those 'trusted' developers has released updates to their aircraft, why? Because they were not 'as they should have been' when released.Jeez if you don't trust a developer because they release updates to fix release issues you really should stop buying software - full stop (or period, whatever your flavour is ;) ).

A flame fest waiting to happen. Am locking this one down before it even has a chance to start.

I'm with Mike. Their Concorde is excellent and for me they've always produced the best 2D panels and good flight models. I haven't bought any Airbus or Boeings from them but that's because I'm happy flying the PMDG737 and Concorde.I remember a 747 they produced many years ago and the quality of the product was far ahead of anything others had done. I have always considered PSS a quality provider.
