XP11 3.6 A bit of British Columbia bush flying

It’s a beautiful early autumn morning in Twin Lakes, when I was asked to ferry some liquid supplies to Tatlayoko Lake. They pay for my fuel, so who am I to resist?

I’m getting closer to Lake Tatlayoko

 

 

The airstrip is supposed to run right next to the small road. Oh well…

 

 

 

 

Strange, nobody here to pick up the booze. That gives me an idea.

 

Luckily, I always have a tent with me

 

Am I afraid of Grizzly bears? Here? In this location? Naaaa…😨😱

Bernd: I now happen to vaguely recall your last business venture...🙂...having to use that "run-down" aircraft...so, glad to know, you've, here, a sharp-looking (and quite capable) bush-plane for this ferry-service...!

Seriously: These are lovely pictures of BC bush-country...and it seems like a fun and scenic flight! Makes me determined to hop (north) over to BC on my next visit to Seattle...(if I ever get another chance)...

I didn't really use a firm flight plan, as I flew by hand, but here are the ICAO codes of the places I passed by:

Exactly! I thought the same, when I did the flight. I have to admit that I am quite happy with what I have right now. Still, I guess many of us can't wait to experience the difference 😊
