October 13, 20196 yr Hi guys, was flying yesterday, today turned on pc and all addon scenery has gone from scenery library!? They do seem to be in the fsx folder. Any my ideas how to get them all Barack into library, without reinstalling? Many thanks and best regards, Andrew Andrew Waller
October 13, 20196 yr Any chance the folder got accidentally moved into another? If you have search turned on, then try doing a search one of the of the files that you know existed, but is missing. For instance KBOI, etc. Try to make it specific to the contents of the Addon Scenery folder. Something like BGL or Chicago, etc. will get you a lot of false returns. Don't think Barack wants to be in there! Were all of your scenery addons located in the Addon Scenery Folder? October 13, 20196 yr Hi Andrew, If they’ve gone from the scenery library, you may be able to restore them by finding an old scenery.cfg file and reactivating it. New scenery cfg files are created when you add new add-on scenery and the old ones are renamed (usually something like Scenery_CFG_Before.......) and stored in C:\Program Data\Microsoft\FSX....... Just back up the current scenery cfg file (this will also be in C:\Program Data.....). and find a recent ‘old’ one preferably with a date just before you lost everything and rename it scenery.cfg Bill Edited October 13, 20196 yr by scianoir
