October 25, 20196 yr Author Almost a lifetime ago I spent a few weeks In Australia TDY with the US Air Force. I was in Alice Springs and during the month I was there I never bought a beer. I was sent to small unit to fill in until the permanent guy arrived. No matter what pub we entered or how many of us there were the cry was always, "Buy the Yank(s) a beer." One of the friendliest places I ever served. Noel The tires are worn. The shocks are shot. The steering is wobbly. But the engine still runs fine.
