The 9900KS is officially priced at the same point as the 9900K was. The 9900K has seen a small price drop already, selling for ~ $489 USD at most online retailers. I suggest you give it a day or two at least to see official listings for the 9900KS.

Thanks well if that’s the case being roughly same price. then I am Re boxing my 9900k as I’ve only had it for 2 weeks and taking it back.
October 30, 20196 yr Author I'm sure overclockers with more time on their hands will push the chip much further than that. Dry ice is not the best cooling medium for extreme overclocking, but it is cheaper and easier than LN2.
