NO. Why are we back here again? I already showed you the prices are Canadian.

Lol yes I have been still looking the cheapest in Canada I found is 720 Canadian then add tax of almost 100 on top of that. also there is only a 1 yr warranty as oppose to 3. I think I’ll stick with my current i9 900k
October 31, 20196 yr Techguy, listen to what the guys are telling you, all the links you provided point to the standard K version not the Ks. The only one I saw that had an option to change to the ks was B&H which is listed at 599 and that's 788.57 Canadian before duties. Not one of your links pointed to a MFR p/n different from the standard K version so that is why you were back there again. I'm interested in this CPU which is why I'm looking at your links, but I've been building my own systems for years so I know what to look for. As your one of the hardware gurus on this forum, someone without a lot of pc knowledge could potentially take your posts at face value and purchase the standard K version thinking they were buying the KS which is what they wanted. Would they be able to tell the difference in performance - probably not, but that's not the point so although the links are appreciated please don't be so hubristic when someone points out an error. Heres few a links that are correct. I think I'm going to wait and see if the premium price over the normal K is worth it. https://www.amazon.ca/i9-9900KS-Desktop-Processor-All-Core-Unlocked/dp/B07YP3J7ZM/ref=dp_ob_title_ce https://www.newegg.ca/intel-core-i9-9th-gen-core-i9-9900ks/p/N82E16819118113?Description=9900KS&cm_re=9900KS-_-19-118-113-_-Product Edited October 31, 20196 yr by Garys

November 5, 20196 yr What kind of core voltage do you have to maintain to keep all cores at 5Ghz for 9900KS? I've run my old 3930K at 4.34-4.42Ghz at 1.32v to all 6 cores for going on 6y and it may be showing signs of finally degrading so I'm again thinking about purchasing parts for a big upgrade. Also, what kind of cooling would be sufficient to maintain 5Ghz with HT enabled does anyone know? Have you watched the video Der8auer 5.2 on a AIO cooler but at 5ghz you are not really pushing it it`s designed to run at that on all cores unlike the 9900k, some cores will be running above intended max. https://www.guru3d.com/news-story/core-i9-9900ks-chips-further-binned-to-5200-mhz-sells-for-1200.html Edited November 5, 20196 yr by rjfry Raymond Fry.
November 5, 20196 yr Thanks rjfry for that it appears the same voltage I'm using 1.32. November 5, 20196 yr This will be different for each chip. Mine runs perfectly happy at 4.8 all 6 cores @ 1.32v but to maintain stability at 5.0 I need 1.37v just for reference... Also if I'm not trying to benchmark I can run P3D @ 5.2 all 6 cores with 1.4v. November 6, 20196 yr Having seen how my old HT enabled 3930K loads terrain textures at 4.32Gh I think I'd just go for 5Ghz on the main thread and leave the others handling other tasks at whatever it defaults to less than 5Ghz. I'm excited to see the improvement on CPU/GPU performance over my current PC. I think it will be somewhere around 40+% on the CPU side and more on the GPU side. As I care much more about longevity than a few % more clockspeed I would keep vcore not more than 1.32v I think. What kind of peak temps would I see w/ the 9900KS at 5Ghz on the main core and 4.x on the others using your Corsair H115i w/ dual 280mm radiators? Is it fully leakproof if handled correctly? I've been hesitant to use water because of this so have always used Noctua air coolers with good results.
