November 21, 20196 yr We see, from time to time, questions about interesting flights to make. At least, the two past threads below proposed some. There are, without any doubt, more that I have forgotten but the information gets lost in the never ceasing flow of a forum. Maybe we should concentrate on one thread only (wishful thinking, I should know better 😏). So feel free to add any flight you think worth to fly in the new sim here. November 21, 20196 yr From Asahikawa (Japan) to Petropavlosk - Kamtchatka along the islands between the Okhotsk and the Bering Sea
November 21, 20196 yr One of my favorite airports for a few nice flight rounds is Bella Coola ( CYBD ) nice surrounding mountains and rivers (P3D & orbx). I can not wait to fly there in FS2020! 😅

And to spice things up a little you could do a stopover on Onekotan Island and try to land on the caldera lake with a floatplane. i9-11900K, RTX 4090, 32 GB ram, Honeycomb Alpha and Bravo, TCA Airbus sidestick and quadrant, Reverb G2
November 21, 20196 yr From Port Moresby AYPY into the Highlands to Goroka AYGA and then over the "hills" into Medang AYMD. In between try to cover as many of the small airstrips as you deem necessary Any attempt to stretch fuel is guaranteed to increase headwinds My specs: AMD Radeon RX6700XT, AMD Ryzen 9 5900X, 32GB RAM, 34" monitor, screen resolution: 2560x1080
November 21, 20196 yr Not a very interesting cruise flight because a lot of it is over sea, but we often go to the Canary islands for our holidays and I like to simulate that flight once in a while too. That is from EHAM to GCLP or GCTS and it takes between 3,5 to 4,5 hours in a 737, I don't spare the virtual environment and fly that route on not-so-economic engine performance settings. Now what I do like about this flight is taking off in grey rainy weather, breaking through the cloud deck and landing on one of the islands in beautiful weather. The islands are very nice to see from the air and the approach and landing are quite worth the flight time. MSFS will probably make this quite spectacular as it seems able to really capture the grey rainy weather and breaking through the cloud deck part. During descent you'll often break through a broken cloud deck again and then you can see the ships at sea and white caps on the water. Again, from the latest video's we've seen it looks like MSFS is going to capture that pretty well also (aside from the ships which may still come). The cruise will be a lot more interesting also, because the over land parts will look pretty realistic and there will be varying clouds to look at.

I do not say that of course, because I made the entire airfield for it. Of course 😉. 2 hours ago, Nedo68 said: One of my favorite airports for a few nice flight rounds is Bella Coola ( CYBD ) nice surrounding mountains and rivers (P3D & orbx). And I expect them in FS20. 📣 Do you hear Asobo !
