November 28, 20196 yr Why do so many people say VR is a fad, when the sales figures show the opposite? And when so many of us gave the 2D screen away for good years ago, and are never going back to it for flightsim? 5 years ago, the tech was usable but dubious. That was then, this is now. The half-life release is relevant because a major property - half life is HUGE - is being released in a way the means you play it in VR, or you don’t play it. MSFS will definitely support VR, it’s just a question of when. November 28, 20196 yr Didn't the FS2020 team give specific reasons about the challenge of doing VR right? Something about dials? Perhaps VR on an FPS is different than VR in a sim with tons of dials?
