December 4, 20196 yr I'm doing my first flight with the 777-300ER and i've had some problems. First the aircraft didn't want to climb via VNAV automatically, i set the altitude in the MCP and it didn't climb, i had to use V/S and then re-enable VNAV for it to work. Now i'm at FL380 cruising and the aircraft is not level So the V/S is at 0, it's stable but the nose is pitching upwards, that's not normal, right? I've emptied the payload and nothing changed Edited December 4, 20196 yr by Gabriel Victor
December 4, 20196 yr That amount of nose up is normal. The airplane needs to maintain some type of positive angle of attack in order to stay up in the air. That's the simplest answer I can give you. It really depends on the angle of incidence built into the wing as well as the aspect ratio. In the jet that o fly, one variation has a little nose up pitch when we are in cruise. In another variation....it's a super super small amount. December 4, 20196 yr I assume you mean the pitch attitude? That's normal, typically in level flight the pitch attitude will be between 1.5 - 4.5 degrees depending on weight and speed. Brian W KPAE
December 4, 20196 yr Author Oh thankfully. I'm experiencing so many issues with P3D (A.K.A Experiencing a normal P3D flight) That anything fishy worries me. What about the V/NAV thing? it happened again on descent, i sped up the time during the descent and suddenly it didnd't want to descend anymore until i re-set VNAV by switching to V/S and back to VNAV
December 4, 20196 yr Look in QRH 30.2 for the flight with unreliable airspeed charts. The VNAV issue sounds like a bad install? Based on the information that you have provided, it doesn't seem like you are very familiar with the flight basics and advanced aircraft systems. Aircraft is probably fine and it just sounds like some user error to me. Edited December 4, 20196 yr by Evros

I have had the PMDG T7 for ages and it bears out what preceding posts have stated. Rick Almeida

Later I flew the 787 and noticed it was also not level. So I guess it was just me nitpicking due to it being a new experience and all
