Oculus VR in P3d - Desktop windows

Featured Replies

Hi All,

I've just given up on flyinside as it's support for P3D has been less and less of late. The NGXU is almost unusable in its current state, lots of nasty flickering textures and bad performance.

The native VR, coupled with Chaseplane is fantastic and works well, but I'm struggling to figure out how to bring things like Navigraph charts into the VR world with me. I found oculus desktop, and thats ok but it really breaks the immersion to have to go to a desktop mode each time I want to bring up a different chart or look at a different map.

Does anyone know how to interact with oculus desktop windows without having to revert to desktop mode?

Thanks..

James W

You could add the documents to the common documents of the efb that’s what I do with FP etc

Im not aware of any other solutions tho...
