best current scenery/landclass for Europe at the moment?

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

Fixing my xplane installation and I would like to know which scenery is currently best for Europe, ga flying in VR?

Is it alpilot hd4 + overlay + x.-europe 3 or something?

I'm a bit confused by the simheaven website.

Thanks for your thoughts??

edit: appologies, I responded too quick (without realy reading your question ;))

X-Europe comes with its own mesh baked in. But I think you can always use HD Mesh. Either way, with Simhaeven's X-Europe you don't really need a higher resolution of mesh. It's fine just out of the box.

This is incorrect. X-Europe is an overlay of buildings, roads and trees. There is no landclass or elevation data included. Because the buildings and forests are positioned as much as possible to real world locations (using facades), it is recommended to use it together with satelite imagery.

Ok thanks a lot!

Which overlay van be placed on top of alpilot v4 hd?

I recommend (payware) SFD global together with (U)HD mesh, it will give you a better variety in houses and trees. It is one of my most recommended add one.
