February 5, 20206 yr Slow loading scenery usually has less to do with your CPU/GPU and more to do with your FFTF setting. Your FFTF setting is too low and thus your system is not dedicating enough resources to loading in scenery.
February 5, 20206 yr Commercial Member w6kd mentioned the aspects regarding FFTF in an earlier post. Steve Waite: Engineer at codelegend.com
February 5, 20206 yr Commercial Member Yes I also got FSPS FFTFD. It does it's job. Steve Waite: Engineer at codelegend.com

February 5, 20206 yr Commercial Member Yes it's nice to have. It helps loading when you get down low into the scenery. Gerard is the expert on using it in anger. Steve Waite: Engineer at codelegend.com

February 5, 20206 yr Commercial Member As I say, it's nice to have. If and how you use it depends on what you want to be doing. You'll definitely have fun with it. Steve Waite: Engineer at codelegend.com
February 5, 20206 yr Commercial Member Coming into addon EHAM. FFTFD set to AGL mode. I made this during the final weeks of development. It shows the sim locked fps at 24. The settings are too much for the rig and it shows in the top graph the problem the sim has keeping up as the aircraft descends. The lower graph shows FFTFD controlling FFTF to allow the sim to continue the fps it needs. Steve Waite: Engineer at codelegend.com

Try these using core zero, and leaving out some on the LEFT rather than the right. 00,11,11,11,01,01,01,01 00,00,11,11,11,11,11,01 Steve, both work about the same - snappy! Thank you. Me personal preference is the first one. Edited February 5, 20206 yr by Dirk98

Are they from here: http://www.flight1.com/products.asp?product=idealflightpro4 ? What are your FFTD settings? Thanks! Edited February 5, 20206 yr by Dirk98
February 5, 20206 yr Commercial Member At the moment I have a load of new kit in and have not got round to making those settings and changes yet. Yes it is IFPro and that is still going strong. There's a lot of work gone on in that respect, graphs and CPU monitor. IF has also been upgraded for accessibility. The accessibility modes are tuned specifically to NVDA and Narrator with a set of texts for the reader that is more verbose than the common control labels. The Special Edition >augmented version and the P3D v4 version also have a voice mode which speaks about everything going on in the sim. That's an experimental part being developed in cooperation with a blind pilots group. And they know their flight sims! Edited February 5, 20206 yr by SteveW Steve Waite: Engineer at codelegend.com

I know, I know, it's long overdue, however, may I ask if the benchmarks are available in P3Dv4 Academic? Thank!
