Might want to file that away somewhere for future reference given the time we have both spent on this :>) Did you actually have a folder called 'Generated Files with files inside'? The only similar thing I have in the P3D root directory is a shortcut called 'Delete Generated Files'. From what little I've been able to find out running this shortcut deletes addon files, like addon scenery, etc and returns P3D to its default state. Maybe when you run the shortcut it puts the deleted files in a folder called Generated Files?? I'd like to learn more about what running Delete Generated Files actually does or does not do. Thanks for the info, and glad to hear you got things working! Al Edited February 13, 20206 yr by ark

Found this info on the Delete Generated Files shortcut in the P3D root directory: https://flightsimeindhoven.com/prepar3d/delete-generated-files/ This does restore P3D to its default state so you need to be careful using it! I foolishly ran the shortcut to see what it does, and then had to go into the Win10 Recycle bin and restore a ton of files that had been removed from my P3D install to get my P3D system back to what it was. 😮 Al

It also fixed a sound issue with the Lear where I could no longer hear the engines, just the cockpit environment hum I need to find out how to create an Addon entry for all of my scenery. Ouch.
