There goes that AMD single core cpu showing off its power in FSX. For some reason FSX loves the single core AMD chip.

>I'm happy you're happy.>>Other than that I don't think anyone gives a rat's.>>James:-lol Thank you!

Great - Please explain your settings as I have an Athlon64 4800+, 7900 GT Superclocked, 2GB DDR500 and can't get 20fps with autogen maxed.

So far, I'm generally impressed. It looks like VFR flight is more realistic. The virtual cockpits are fully useable and look incredible.I love the ultralight plane. There are some cons, frame rates, some landclass goofs, and some strange looking fall textures in New England, but for the product right out of the box, it is quite playable.Considering that FS2004 wouldn't run on the same machine that I used for FS2002, this is a step in the right direction. And, EB broke the street date. I got mine tonight.

I'm extremely happy with it!! "THANK YOU" ACES for the Max 2.x water, for the autogen (especially the trees), for the mesh, for the textures, for the Beaver and the Maule and the Goose, for the low-impact clouds,... Do I need to go on? :)And did I mention that I'm still using the Beta version? My RTM FSX was bought in Canada, sent by courier, today left Paris on the way to Dubai. Should get it Friday hopefully :)

You bet I'm happy! And I haven't even bought it yet! The idea of a new sim coming out makes me happy. The idea of it being in my hands in less than a week makes me elated. From the vids and screenies I have seen, I am happy!I will probably have the wife drive me home from WalMart when I get it so I can ogle the packaging on the way home. Then spend 30 minutes opening, so I can remember how the plastic sounded when it ripped off, how it smelled when I opened the box, how cool the new DVDs look. I'm tickled pink, and I have never, and I mean NEVER, looked forward to software of ANY kind like this. To be walked through development by the developers themselves, hearing about their personal frustrations during that time, learning how excited they are to be releasing their art on us. This is a fascinating time to be a simmer for me, and I'm drinking it up.-Jeremy Burchhttp://home.earthlink.net/~dawgfighter/sit...es/swvasig1.gifSWVA4806 http://www.virtualswa.com/home.phpThe Ozark Dogfighter http://forums.avsim.net/images/wedge.gifHappy Flying!BOAC: Heathrow Centre, British Airways Speedbird Flight 723HC: British Airways Speedbird Flight 723, Heathrow Centre, go aheadBOAC: Heathrow Centre, British Airways Speedbird Flight 723 has a message for youHC: British Airways Speedbird Flight 723, Heathrow Centre is ready to copy messageBOAC: Heathrow Centre, British Airways Speedbird Flight 723, message is as follows: Mayday, Mayday, Mayday ....
