Have MS/Asobo considered a documentary?

Featured Replies

The up coming MSFS looks to be ground breaking in many ways and quite possibly in retrospect will be seen as a seminal moment. It would be great if they eventually made a documentary (even a short one) on the day in the life of the development team, deep dive into the technology, etc. If they did, I’d buy it and I suspect many here would also. But that needs footage and photos as it’s happening. I hope they’ve thought about that and have roaming photographers and film crews in the Asobo offices randomly sampling and attending formative meetings, etc. If they haven’t, I hope they read this and seriously consider it before it’s too late. History can’t be revisited in hindsight.

Would be nice to see the very first tech demo they did.  And some other behind the scenes things.  But they started in 2016, so I think we have missed the early good stuff.

My brother has Coronavirus, confirmed by testing. On 3/26 he almost didn't survive the night.  He had extreme trouble breathing and was given a steroid inhaler.  He was very weak, had nausea, and other issues that aren't pleasant.  As of this update he is feeling much better, and seems he will be fine.  Stay safe out there.  (Updated 4/6)

Whaaaaaaa...,ground breaking. For a game developer I would think it hasn’t been ground breaking. They have better things to do I’m sure.

On the other hand, you know what they say, if you want to enjoy your meal, don’t go to the kitchen 😏.

Just teasing... They said that they offered free flying lessons to their programmers. It would be interesting to have one talking about the progressive interactions between what he/she has learned in these lessons and his/her job programming aircraft.
