Did you then afterwards start up the airplane and use the RXP addons dropdown app to convert the two F1 GTNs to the RXP versions? Just take me through what you did on the PC12 and we'll get it working. BTW.. you may also be interested in our community mod for the PC12 which adds functionality to the panel.. What I did after I installed GTN 750 on my computer was to add it to the airplane from the add on menu in P3Dv4. Since I only bought the 750 and not the 650 I choosed the top option and nothing for the bottom, since it gives you 2 choices I think that would be the correct one. The one for the MIlviz was add it through the MVAMS option on my computer. I did exactly the same for the embraer 120 but here is the thing. I could not get the default panel back on the emb 120 when I clicked on the option while I could do it on the PC12. In any case, none were powered.

OK, we really need to take this one step at a time.. For the PC12, did you run the Carenado F1GTN750PC12.exe app to install the GTN into the panel? It is equivalent to the Milviz MVAMS app. Bert

Is there any issue why you're refusing to just post the content of the RXP log files? I didn't see this post by you at all hence the reason I haven't reply. I am not refusing to post anything. If I saw this I would have replied already since I'm the one complaining about not getting responses. I will look at the manual since you cannot tell me here how to do it and I will reply. 1 hour ago, Bert Pieke said: I went to the add on then RXP while the PC12 was loaded in P3D and added the gauge. So I can make myself clear, and this something that maybe related, I do have the MVAMS interface as a shortcut on my desktop. I do have the purchase module from Flight 1 but I do not have any other option to install the gauge on any airplane, even though during installation I did check to create a shortcut on my desktop. March 5, 20206 yr This was resolved over the phone... the missing step was to convert the Carenado provided GTN panel to the RXP equivalent. Bert

March 5, 20206 yr Author Here is the link to a folder containing the files you requested: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1Bxavyl658jecjctIGqjFDqw94BtS9I9K?usp=sharing I uploaded the 3 files. According to Bert Pieke, it seems the problem is that when I try to get the gauge installed on the airplane, is installing the F1GTN750 instead of the RXPGTN750. Now, I don't know why I would have that problem since when I bought this product I did it directly from your website which should have give me only the RXP version of the gauge.

March 5, 20206 yr Thank your for the files: the log files are not showing any particular issue. 14 minutes ago, perohijo said: is installing the F1GTN750 instead of the RXPGTN750. Maybe just to recap: some aircraft might not have a Reality XP preset. In this case, you can often use the aircraft supplied configuration tool to first set it up with a GTN (another one), then once done, use the Reality XP Panel Assistant in the add-ons menu to 'Replace' the other GTN gauges found in the panel with the RXP ones instead. The gauge file name you're mentioning is another GTN gauge file and I'd suspect this is normal (step1). You just have to continue with step2 now, making sure replacing ALL instances of any auto-detected gauge which name resemble "GTN". Edited March 5, 20206 yr by RXP

The add on option can be a little confusing. When I was looking to add the gauges it only gave the option of installing the F1 version and showed nothing specific for RXP. I am in the process of uninstalling everything and I will get back to you with the results. I'm even deleting any folders left in the process.

The answer is that Carenado only supports the F1 GTN 750 for the PC12. So what you went through is normal, and the uninstalling is a) not required and b) can introduce problems... so best of luck Edited March 5, 20206 yr by RXP Bert

I have been trying to reinstall the RXP software from scratch as recommended by you. I tried twice because the wrap up installation told there was a file open and I could ignore it or cancel so I ignored it and then it came back saying that P3D needed to closed, which already was so to avoid problems I decided to abort the installation. I then tried again just to find out I tried "too many times" so of course I needed to go to F1 to get the key reactivated and then when I tried a few minutes later it told me I have tried too many times and that I need to wait a while. So here I am waiting for this thing to work. I remember several years ago I decided to skip buying anything from F1 because their system is archaic, and is hard to understand why do you need permission to install software you already own! I have all my software bought from other vendors and also keep the receipts and serial numbers, but with F1 you have to go through all these steps just to reinstall. I just received a reply from F1 and their response is that RXP still uses an antiquated wrap up software that they do not use anymore. Any reason you cannot update and come to the 21st century?

March 5, 20206 yr I'm sorry for the poor experience you're sharing with us. Unfortunately the steps to get there seem complex but if you look closely and just apply the recommendations in 1 to 3 order, it is very easy in the end. Besides we're still in the process of evaluating the new e-commerce agent but we're committed to other tasks right now, especially the update to support the latest GTN trainer which was just released this morning.
