I bought my copy of FSX Deluxe last night from the GameStop in Asheville, NC USA. So, if you're as eager as I was, you can try your local strip mall!:-)My system specs are below in my sig. Personally, I am extremely disappointed in the performance even with very conservative slider settings to say the least. I suspect the demo ran so "well" for me because the majority of the scenery was water, and there's not a lot of autogen out there in the water. So,out of the box, things are significantly slower on my machine.I'd love to vent about boats, animals and cars in a flight simulator, but opinions are like elbows--everyone's got them, but mine's no better than yours. PS, be ready for some installation hangups. Mine quit during initial install, and I had to restart. But it did go through the second time. Just be ready if it happens to you. My local Gamestop refused to sell, as did my local Best Buy. Walmart is sold out of the deluxe but had 2 std remaining. The guy at Wally's said if I order online it ships immediately. I must say it's been a weird way to release a product - if Microsoft was so worried about early release - why are they activating copies? If they are, why don't they just send down an edict to all stores to roll it out. JMHO.Regards, Kendall

They had a few more.Both Walmarts near me had the Standard version on the shelves, as well as the best buy.

Called Gamestop in Grand Forks, ND - he said it isnt released till the 18th :( What...figures GFK, is so far out in the boonies no one cares about us LOL Though BB here said the 17th

I made my rounds in Grand Forks as well, Gamestop to Walmart to Best Buy and no joy. Oh well, I can FS9 it for a couple more days...
