October 17, 200619 yr >Thank you Franck,>I have done that, however, the strobes and position lights are located >1 or 2 meters off the wing tips. Have you figured out to eliminate that?>Bob...Hello,Lights coordinates are in the [LIGHTS] section of the Aircraft.cfg file. Wingtips smoke trails are also in this section in case they fail too. There are also few problems with two instruments with instruments lighting.Franck
October 17, 200619 yr Does anyone now how we can use the realair 172 airfile with the FSX cessnas? Thanks
October 17, 200619 yr Bob, No matter what I do I can't get the VC to work at all. Im using Beta3and hope to have full version by noon today est. Any suggestions? Craig
October 20, 200619 yr After importing the excellent Real Air SF260 to the FSX retail version I get a black disc for the propeller arc in the VC and no canopy glass. I moved the Sf260 aircraft folder to the FSX sim objects folder and copied the 19 RASSSF260 texture files to the FSX texture folder. Also copied the 14 sf260 effects files to the FSX effects folders. If anyone has any ideas on a fix for these issues thanks in advance for your help. I have never been a fan of FS default aircraft and FSX is no different.
October 21, 200619 yr As bob has pointed out above:Pull the gauge folder out of the FS9 SF260 folder and put it in the SF260 PANEL folder in FSX
October 21, 200619 yr You cannot put the texture files in the FSX texture folder. You must copy them to the aircraft texture folder for each SF.260 variant.Brian
October 21, 200619 yr This takes care of the propeller arc issue and also the VC canopy glass. Minor issues remaining are the recognition lights and strobes are in normal position on the wing tips but duplicate lights are positioned in space several feet from the originals. Also, I can't get the landing light to work when using my dual monitor mode (2048 X 768). The landing light is visible in single monitor mode.
