Help with SF260

Featured Replies

Hi:I've moved this to FSX, and copies over the relevnat taxture and effects files. It shows up and is flyable, but no prop or instruments textures in the vc. Any ideas? Thanks

Yep. RealAir did things a little different. There are a number of texture files that are in the FS texture folder. You just need to copy those textures in to each of your aircraft texture folders. They're easy to identify. That'll do it.Dave

thanks pal

Dave, As near as I can tell I did copy all of the textures. Also copied the gauges but still am unable to get the VC to work. Any ideas? Thanks, Craig

yes can someone help that is the best payware single engine!

Rob or Sean will know for sure, but I don't think the latest RealAir planes will port directly into FSX the way you're attempting. I've tried myself, and it seems they'll require a patch for FSX in order to work.

Hi Craig!Pull the gauge folder out of the FS9 SF260 folder and put it in the SF260 PANEL folder in FSX. You should have everything except panel, strobe and gauge lighting issues I have not been able to solve. I assume those will be resolved if/when RealAir issues an update. Hope this helps. She flys great and the sound is terrific!Bob..http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/158778.jpg

did you guys copy from fs9 texture to fsx sf260 aircrafts texture?

Hello bob,You will get what you miss (panel light, strobe, ...) if you copy fx_sf260*.fx and fx_RASSF260*.fx files from Effects directory from FS9 to FSX.EnjoyFranck

This also works for the RA Spitfire. Just did it - flies and looks just fine!

Thanks and will give it a try. Now that I think about it I don't believe I did that and I should know better. Craig

Just tried the MAAM B25. The VC viewpoint is on the ground (using TrackIR4), ahead of the nosewheel and the gauges are holes. Have to work on this.

Have you figured out to eliminate that? Bob...
