Low Visibility - P3Dv5

Recommended Posts

I am experiencing  some extremely foggy washout, low visibility (blue) scenes, that is with truesky on and off.  Totally different when I am using v4, then when I am using v5.   This does not effect my framerates at all......weird.  Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

Current specs are l7-8700k with a 1080 ti.....

If you are using HDR lighting suggest you experiment with the Brightness/Bloom/Saturation settings as changes there can make quite a difference.

With HDR &  Enhanced Atmosphere on, see what you get with 1.1/0.8/1.0, then try 1.1/0.0/1.0.

Some people are getting good results with Bloom = 0.0

If you are getting fluorescent greens on the terrain, try easing Saturation back to see what happens.

Anyone else having issues with bloom not making much of a difference in v5? I've fiddled with my HDR settings quite a bit and found a nice balance of brightness/saturation but I've found bloom doesn't really have much effect until I get way up around 3 and then it's obviously very blown out and comically overdone.

I found a good HDR starting point is  55  / 30  /  95  Then I use NVIDIA control panel to adjust color

Has anyone else had issues adjusting lighting at night ?

Any recommendations for night settings?

My changing settings doesn't seem to do anything.

Lighting sliders/HDR/Atmospheric .

Nothing seems to change.

Everything is over saturated but i can't seem to change it with any of the settings.

Thanks
