PMDG & MSFS (FS2020)

Featured Replies

Hello Everyone.

Looking to get my first longhauler for P3D, It's between the PMDG 777 or QW787.

Obviously the 777 is the better one for systems, but my real question was not one of actual aircraft, but of the chances of having to re-buy the 777. Ideally I don't want to spend too much, just wondering what people thought. I know QW upgraded people to P3D, but even if I re-bought it it would be less.

I know that the NGXu got a discount though...

Well the 777 is quite long in the tooth by today's flight sim standards while the QW is more up to date.  As for paying for FS2020....100% PMDG will charge for this new platform and probably 98% QW will do so as well....although with them there is a chance of an upgrade price.

OK thanks. I'll probably go with the QW787. Is it flyable to do things such as VOR approaches? I'm not too fussed about failures.

NGXU only has a discount if you purchased before January 1st..The QW 787 works well for the price tag, however it’s possible it will be a discount to re-purchase for msfs 202 but I don’t think anyone knows for sure at this point.

Uh...guys? Why is this thread here?

Poor Bargain Hunter’s Shack is having a bad day with low-relevance posts.

Last month was much better. 😢
