May 7, 20206 yr Rain effects are working now. Seems to be very stable on my end. No crashes at all. And the added smoothness of dx12 gives new life to these a2a birds. PC- AMD Ryzen 7800X3D, 64gb 6400mhz RAM, Nvidia RTX4090
May 7, 20206 yr Unfortunately the installation of the P3D5 Bonanza Version didn't work out for me. I haven't had a chance to try, what curt1 suggested. (Thanks !) In the end my P3D crashed everytime I tried to use that plane, so I had to de-install it. The P3Dv4 Version of the Bonanza was working fine before... (after removing the Windshield.dll). Will wait for an updated Version. btw: Next week Aerosoft is expecting the A333 to be released for P3Dv5. It's already working, but they still wait for the official release of "Trueglass". May 8, 20206 yr I’m also experiencing issues with the P3d v5 Bonanza. When in virtual cockpit view my frame rates drop to 20 or high teens. I have my system locked at 30 FPS, and my external spot views of the Bonanza hold 30 FPS easily, even in complex and dense scenery. But switch to virtual cockpit view, and the frames drop off. I do not see this behavior with the Bonanza in P3d 4.5, nor with the Cessna 172 that A2A released for v5 of P3d. It does this whether using default GPS or the F1 GTN 650/750. Rich L
May 8, 20206 yr It is an absolute pleasure to fly with my C172 over rural ORBX land. Be it in GB (TE) or PNW (FTX). - Harry 9800x3D (Strix x870e-E) - 64GB RAM (DDR5 6000, CL 30) - RTX 5090, 34'' 1440p OLED HDR - Windows 11 Pro (1TB M.2) - MSFS 2024 (MS Store, 4TB M.2).
