May 6, 20206 yr Hello, I just picked up DD's Miami City scenery this weekend, as it has just been moved to a 'free download' status (see Bargain Hunter's Shack forum). One question I do have before I get started,, does this scenery install via the newer P3D XML method for add-ons, or does it still use the older scenery.cfg method. Just looking for information as I get ready to begin the process. Thanks for your help, Mike Michael Simbro Intel i7-6700, EVGA GTX 1660ti 6gb, Nvidia 456.71 drivers, Win 10 Pro/64bit
May 6, 20206 yr Where can I find a Miamy City X by DD for Prepa3d? I only see a XP version and a FS2004 version in their products list. May 6, 20206 yr As Raymond said. It's a nice scenery, but I believe it dates back to 2012... So it's kind of old and doesn't support much of the newer technologies available in newer version s of P3D. I can only guess as to why DD never updated it, but I won't be surprised if it has something to do with latinVFR adding large swaths of Miami to their KMIA addon over the years. The default location for the scenery is in your Prepar3D vX\Addon Scenery folder, but you can put it anywhere and the installer adds a folder with an add-on.xml in your My Documents\Prepar3D vX Add-ons folder. So, in short, it installs just like other DD scenery and is added to the library via the add-on.xml method and not the scenery.cfg method. 5800X3D | Radeon RX 6900XT

This is strange as neither in their overview http://www.drzewiecki-design.net/products.htm#FSX_Software_Products: nor on SimMarket https://secure.simmarket.com/drzewiecki-design-miami-city-2012-fs2004.phtml is it marked as P3D compatible. Kind regards, Michael Edit: Found the solution: http://drzewiecki-design.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=221&start=180 It's as said by Benjamin. The Latin VFR airport + City is indeed good.
