May 25, 20206 yr Hello, Can anyone advise the fors and against of running in Full screen or windowed mode please? Thanks Phil
May 25, 20206 yr In fact 'full screen' is borderless windowed mode. I don't see any performance impact so use 'full' for immersion Artur

Many other games use proper full screen mode where pop-ups from other Windows apps won't appear. i7-14700k | Asus ROG STRIX Z790-F Gaming WIFI | 32GB DDR5 RAM | MSI RTX 4080 Super | WD Black SN850X 1TB & 2TB | Corsair HX1000i ATX3.0 | MSI MAG401QR 40" monitor | Win 11 Pro 64-bit | Meta Quest 3
May 25, 20206 yr If running FSX then I have read of a memory leak if using full screen - which, of course, could lead to CTD's. When I run FSX I use the "Pseudo Full Screen Autohotkey Script" to allow me to run in windowed mode but it looks like full screen. The script is available in the AVSIM library: search for "Pseudo Full Screen Autohotkey Script" I think this only applies to FSX or FSX:SE: I'm not sure if its relevant to P3D. Others may be able to clarify that for you. Best regards Rupert
