P3D5 ucrtbase.dll CTD

Featured Replies

Greetings.

I am trying to figure out what is causing P3Dv5 to crash. Never saw this error before. I reinstalled W10 and wiped out everything before installing P3D v5. So clean install. I have about 20 sceneries and only QW787 addon airplane. No problem flying default planes. Recently I started flying QW787 and ucrtbase.dll is something new to me. I was running AS for P3D version and QW787. In about 10 mins in flight I had CTD.

Thanks for looking.

Something is really off here. One issue after another. Now I cannot even start P3D5. No changes to PC, no new addons. Now I am mostly getting KERNELBASE.dll. Followed CTD guide and still no success. Tried to start P3D 10 times and sim either crashes on start or it crashes in about 10 mins in flight with the same damned KERNELBASE.dll. I hope MS2020 will be different :(( I am getting really tired of this never ending mess.

Hi Edward,

Regarding your UCRTBASE.DLL error....................

I wonder if this is your anti virus being picky.

See my thread here -

One of the folders I listed under EXCLUSIONS was "C:/windows/system32", can't remember why.

Hope this helps.

I'm having the same issue, where you able to solve your problem Skysurfer?

If this is happening in P3D v5.1, see the topic in P3D Tips and Tricks forum.
