Need Help Ultimate Ground Crew X

Hi,

I just bought this product and I can't get any vehicles etc to show. All the menus show up ok.. but no action.

I run FSX boxed version with many addons over the years. I have had no problems with addons before.  FSX is placed in the following: Computer C, Program files (x86) Microsoft Games, Microsoft Flight Simulator.

I can fly real planes but no nothing about computers, so any help on what to do would be a great help.

Ticket responded to.

But I think you have a write permission issue.

Installing FSX into the default "Program Files" folder is asking for write permission problems.  FSX and P3D should be installed in a location other than Program Files to avoid problems.

Please do this:

Right click on the FSX.exe in the FSX Main Folder and select " run as administrator" in the Compatibility tab.

Then re-install UGCX.

There's a reasonable chance that'll solve your issue with the missing lines.

From what I can see in your LOG, the objects aren't even created in the simulation, this usually happens because of two things:

- The setup didnt install the UGCX folder inside, your FSX's SimObjects directory

- The UGCX entry is not in your [Main] section of your FSX.CFG file

If the vehicles doesnt shows up, you need to ensure that there is an entry in the FSX.CFG. If that entry is not there, you wont be able to see any vehicles or people.

First of all, you need to go to appdata folder, to go there, you just need to

1. Open your Windows explorer

2. Write down %appdata% in the place where the directory path is, then it will open the place where all folders are, usually here:

C:\Users\Paul\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX\

3. Look for the Microsoft folder, then inside that folder FSX, once there into the FSX.CFG.

4. Open up the FSX.CFG file with notepad, there is a section named [Main], check if you see an entry like:

SimObjectPaths.6=SimObjects\UGCX
