Fs2crew always defaults to flaps 15 takeoff

Featured Replies

Hi,

When I choose any other flaps besides 15 for takeoff, I only see the takeoff data card for Flaps 15. Is there a way to see other flap takeoff speeds?

Hi Spencer,

The takeoff data card is part of the aircraft, not FS2Crew.

You'd need to address that one to the Maddog developers.

Cheers,

Ok thanks

Is there a way to communicate the dial a flap logic in fs2crew?

Hi David,

You mean send data from FS2Crew to the Maddog's Takeoff Datacard?

Well I know you select flaps in config panel, however if I am using optimum flap (Dial-a-flap), Do I keep it at zero? And When do I dial the flap setting during preflight?

Hi David,

If memory serves correct, if you want to use Dial A Flap, you would manually preselect Dial A Flap in the aircraft yourself, just the value.

You would do that after you're certain what the dial-a-flap setting would be prior to departure.

Then during the After Start Flow, the FO will select the actual Takeoff Flap.
