Duplicate instances of P3D4.5HF3 on startup

Recommended Posts

On what looks like a quite random basis I occasionally get duplicate instances of P3D4.5 HF3 on startup as monitored through Task Manager.  This happens whether or not my PC has been shutdown before starting up P3D.   If I don't close down both instances of P3D immediately it creates quite a mess.

Any clues?

If you exit P3D it takes about a minute to actually close. If meanwhile you shut down the PC, Windows will restart P3D automatically when you turn the PC back on.

This is why i have Task Manager pinned to my task bar, after exit i open Task Manger and check it`s also possible then to open it in sim for performance monitor .

This problem is often caused by the incorrect operation of a SimConnect client. Also as mentioned this can simply be that the simulator has not completely closed before shutting the PC off. However that delay may also be due to incorrect SimConnect client behaviour. I would test deduction of various add-ons.
