August 1, 20205 yr Hello, For years and years i am missing the option to simulate the soundscape as it is when you wear a headset in the cockpit. Simple as that. It always sounds like you sit directly attached to the engine and all other sounds are just mixed under it. I think this would be great! 🙂  Intel i9-13900K | Gigabyte Z790 Aorus Master | RTX4090 | 2x16GB Corsair Vengeance DDR5-6000 | Be quiet! Pure Loop 2 FX AiO | Win 11
August 1, 20205 yr That feature is in a few flight sims. DCS has it as an option. Alan Bradbury Check out my youtube flight sim videos: Here
August 2, 20205 yr I wrote a script that does this in Xplane for any plane...some 3rd party planes have it built in as well. It does help alot with Immersion, as most well done sound effects would. Someone might think it's just a small thing, and by itself it is small...but many times it's not the 1 or 2 big things that make a sim (or any game for that matter) but the 20 or 30 small things all chained together. The small things do matter because if you chain enough of them together at a single point in time you will often experience something called "magic". Dave Kalin Excel Classes Computer Lessons
August 2, 20205 yr Nah, I like hearing bird song over the big honking radial engine on the dhc3 otter... (sarcasm)
August 4, 20205 yr And I'd like a functional audio system, where you can actually adapt volumes for each channel, also the marker beacon sounds are still as unrealistic as they ever were, and so on, and so forth. 😅
