MD-11 P3Dv5 - Buy or wait? That is the question

Hi Guys,

Thanks for all the feedback so far....................................

Do you think they will comparable when both products are out in the market or do you think one represents a new level of simulation experience?Appreciate the feedback Alan on the Skysim. Sounds like you're not itching to get your wallet out for the TFDI when it comes. Its not a "must buy"  for you. Would that be right?

If you are into real life procedures (or close to it) etc then I think you will find the Skysim FMC very limited and you are stuck with old data.

Thanks Steve. Good to know.

I think overall, based on the feedback provided, I am going to sit it out and wait for the TFDI to come along. OK that could be a longer wait, but I still have my old FSX rig available so I can still fly the PMDG bird for now.

Cheers
Mark

Hi,

I just thought I would post a link to the latest update/development activity on the MD-11 for P3D. I missed this earlier in the month.

Enjoy!

With talk of delays in getting high quality payware airliners into the new sim, I'm tempted to get one final airliner for P3D. This is looking like a worthy option.

I have a lot / too many 3rd party airports that cover FedEx hubs, so definitely scope to recreate some routes, plus some night flying to give some extra variety.
