How about a poll for choice of MFS2020 purchase options

I favor the Steam version because I expect a lot of updates.  Let Steam sort it out for me.

i would prefer steam but unsure about how third party stand alone installers will play with steam as opposed to Ms Store

I went with MS Store. I’ve read that if you go through Steam, the devs get less of the revenue than a direct sale from MS. Plus if/when it comes out for Xbox, I like knowing it’ll be included there too and I could throw it up on the 55” 4K TV with HDR and see how it looks when I want to be lazy on the couch.

I hummed and hawed, decided to buy from the Windows Store just in case updates etc are rolled out there more quickly than Steam.  Made my purchase, tried to download to initial 1Gb or so that everyone else has, download won't work, error code 0x80073cf9.  Forget this, order cancelled, buying from Steam now.  The Windows Store really drives me nuts sometimes.
