nice graphics bad realism

Featured Replies

i will not speak about the inop buttons because its the original plane....but   no one is speaking about the missing of GPWS  Ground Proximity Warning System .its realy nice and give realism to hearing pull up to low terrain...and from the moment we have a real time traffic A TCAS warning about traffic will be great!!.....small things can make the difference but everybody watching only how graphics are good.sry for my English

Welcome!   No need to apologize for your English!  It's way better than my Greek!  😁

Just going to run a Chromebook and not upgrade to a Windows computer. Too many problems with the new Sims! 😱
Trying to keep peace and harmony and the will of Landru on the site seems to be a full time job!

So a GPWS and TCAS are required for realism despite what all the others are saying?

Adding additional realism to what is lacking will not hurt anyone. In fact everyone's experience will be better once additional updates are made to realism, there is room for improvement.

What ALL the others are saying is moot.  For him, the Sim it not realistic. That is his opinion!

What ALL others are saying is: Yay or nay, there is no consensus, and probably never will.

btw: @firefighter42 Welcome to the forums.

If your referring to the airliners, these are NOT study level. I dont understand why people expect pmdg quality right out of the box

Well, just look at the complexity for FSX default 737 for instance. Can't expect much more, IMO. Nor I really care. I am flying stuff like FSL, Majestic and PMDG. If they are not up to par, I am not interested. Thus I want a platform which is UP to the quality of those addons. And MSFS is that definitely.

not really but will give a lot of realism

Some of the default aircraft do have GPWS type features, including the GA props.

i7-10700K; RTX 2070 Super; 16GB; P3Dv4.5HF3 & MSFS2020.

Things like this are why it has quickly become clear to me that I will be spending PLENTY of time in XP11 and P3D for the foreseeable future. MSFS looks nice, but is not there yet. Rotating between 3 sims it is!
