October 29, 200619 yr Hi Steve,I did not choose clone, span or duel when I right clicked the desktop screen to define which was monitor 1 and which was number two.I just made the selection, defined the resolution for each and clicked OK.Windows Knows you will be dragging items so initially just go with the default.I lost 3 FPS with the second monitor. Your SLI configuration is more powerful than my system. I would say you will have nothing to worry about. The ability to use the 2nd monitor outweighs the few FPS lost.Windows will let your mouse go to both monitors automatically. Just drag the pointer off the edge of your screen and "keep" on dragging toward the other monitor and you will see it appear. If you 2nd monitor is on when you boot the PC you will not doubt see some of the Windows stuff pop up on the second monitor during boot up.Good luck! post back if you have problems. November 6, 200619 yr Another thing to try if GPS or radio etc. goes dark on the second monitor while using windows windowed mode (not full screen mode) to drag items like undocked radio / GPS etc to the second monitor.Side note: You may also have another symptom with this .. some of the switches and "click on icons in the cockpit .. like for throttle quadrant" will not work.Try this:On main monitor one, main cockpit, click once on the Windows icon in the upper right corner of the screen to (restore down) the size of MSFSX cockpit view. Then, click it again to restore the cockpit view to full size. Now see if the second monitor display is correct and all icons and switches in the cockpit are OK.I was using the basic Beach Baron 58 to check this stuff out.In MSFS9 I do not have to do any of this ... everything works ok.Good luck! November 6, 200619 yr I've got a couple of problems with this1. Not being able to move the ATC window to the second screen -- clicking and dragging on the title bar2. Both FS screens periodically minimize for no apparant reason.3. Has anyone noticed, the radio stack instrument view has no ADF radio -- the one in the VC does. This may have been the case in FS9 but its bloody annoying for those of us flying in the UK -- NDB's everywhere!
November 6, 200619 yr Please remember that two monitors cannot be used in SLI mode. John Rig: Gigabyte B550 AORUS Master Motherboard, AMD Ryzen 7 3800XT CPU, 32GB DDR4 Ram, Gigabyte RTX 2070 Super Graphics, Samsung Odyssey wide view display (5120 x 1440 pixels) with VSYNC on.
