August 19, 20205 yr 1. Waiting on parts for PC upgrade (GPU, SSD etc). 2. Waiting to know if the sim will be optimized for these new GPU cards and which to choose. 2. Waiting to hear about charts and whether to keep Navigraph. 3. Waiting on a MSFS patch or two, and news from developers. 4. Not holding up purchase, but also waiting for aircraft add-ons, HP reverb g2 etc. In short I'm patient for this. Greazer. http://youtube.com/c/Greazer
August 19, 20205 yr I am sitting out the release week mess. Always do. I never buy at release or before. Also, I expected this to release much later anyways, so no harm done by not buying around release date.

Why I DID buy MSFS: While the glitches are being fixed -- and they will be, because this is a continuing project -- I am having a blast flying and exploring. So much more fun than sitting around waiting for perfection! But, to each his own.
August 21, 20205 yr A good friend was a Mopar nut like me. Had a driver worthy 440-6 pack 70 Cuda. He pulled it off the road, as it wasn't perfect, and spent years tracking down oem parts for it so when he had them all he could make it perfect. I bugged him for years to bring it out cruising with us, but he became obsessed with his vision of what it would be, and in its present condition it wasn't good enough in his eyes to enjoy His wife sold the car and acquired parts after he suffered a heart attack and died. I lost a good friend, but gained the realization that it is better to enjoy the imperfect today than wait for the perfect tomorrow. As a lover of flying, for a $1 investment you can play it for a month, and if it doesn't repay that dollar investment, move on
