VATSIM is awfuly quiet...

Featured Replies

VATSIM seems awfuly quiet this week... dunno if it has anything to do with MSFS, but it seems the P3D guys are still flying... maybe the MSFS guys don't know how to VATSIM VFR...  I love my P3D addon aircraft...

There is a bug in simconnect right now I think, Vpilot is affected. Not sure if it would work at all??

I’d rather fly offline in MFS than online (VATSIM) using P3D.  I don’t begrudge anyone who chooses to so; however, that sim just feels so dated and unrealistic that It just destroys my immersion.  Plus, I’ve lost the desire to load up 10 applications before i even start the sim.  I believe others feel the same, which explains VATSIMs desolation.  I’m using the time to become acquainted with MFS; by the time we get our first complex airliner, I’ll be ready...

I think he is talking about VATSIM in MSFS...

Using fsuipc or vPilot in MFS is a stutter fest right now, most are in a waiting pattern. The MFS development update just released said they are working on a patch (nothing listed) and would announce a release date for said patch on next development update on 8/27.

Ivao is working fine for me. Also fsuipc (beta version 7)

AMD 7 7700X, 32GB DDR5, RTX 5060ti 16GB, 2 x Samsung 1TB NVMe, 1 x 4TB sata SSD, Windows 11 Prof

There is an issue right now that causes massive FPS loss not found during the beta in Simconnect I believe. (They posted about it right after release.) That's why it isn't being used much by MSFS peeps.
