Reverse throttle with controller

Featured Replies

Anyone know how to get the reverse thrust to work?  I have a thrust controller on my CH Yoke and can't figure out how to get the marriage of forward thrust and reverse thrust.

You assign the toggle or hold reverse thrust command to a button and then our throttle works as a reverse thruster. If you assign hold you have to hold that assigned button if you assign toggle it will stay as a reverse thruster until you hit the assigned button again.

Hope this helps

Try this...

5800X3D | Radeon RX 6900XT

I found the best straight forward way was to have two buttons assigned to

1) throttle decease, and 2) throttle increase

That way you cut throttle the usual way using the throttle at which point you hold down button 1)

and revert to normal throttle by holding down button 2)

Other expected 'reverse' thrust assignments were iffy at best and you could not return to normal throttle sometimes

I cannot save the throttle reverse hold setting. The sim clears the setting by itself. I think it´s a bug.

Has anyone been able to get beta mode (e.g. King Air) to work with a stick or controller? I can assign "propeller reverse thrust" and while the command works (action levels do change) the thrust levers do not go into the reverse position.

Thanks, this worked.  A little awkward not being able to pull the throttles back like before but that was do to FSUIPC.  This will have to work until the fully updated version of FSUIPC is released.
