How do I Spawn at the gate without any engines running

Featured Replies

After making a flight plan and loading the game (takes a lot of time) I spawn at the gate with apu and the engine running and a tow truck gives me pushback. I want to make a cold start.

Not sure if the save/load flight option works 100%; I don't think it will load the flight plan with the flight....

I’ve never seen that happen when loading the aircraft at a gate. For me, it always starts cold and dark. The only time I have seen an airplane start with engines already running is when spawning on a runway.

Which airplane model and airport? I can see if it happens here.

I honestly don’t remember, but I believe Jim is correct. At least for me, if I choose to spawn at a gate or parking spot, my aircraft is c/d, but if I decide to spawn on the rwy/hold short, the aircraft is fully ready for takeoff, incl. flaps, avionics, lights etc.
